A tokenized equity is an issuer obligation on XRPL whose value references a listed company — it is not the share itself.
A tokenized equity like wNOVO is an issued currency on the XRP Ledger. The token references the economic performance of a listed company, but holding the token is not the same as holding the share: there is no shareholder vote, no direct custody of the underlying, and no registrar entry in the holder's name. What the holder owns is a balance on a trust line to the issuer's XRPL account.
To hold wNOVO, a wallet first sets a trust line to WeildX's issuing account (rhwpaV…PYcdaZ). The trust line is the ledger-native permission that lets an account hold a specific currency from a specific issuer — which is why every asset on Trensik is identified by the exact currency-and-issuer pair, never by ticker alone. Two tokens with the same ticker from different issuers are different assets.
Events in this dossier carry a scope chip for a reason. UNDERLYING events (earnings, ex-dividend dates) belong to the listed company and move the reference value. ISSUER events (token distribution processing) are actions the token issuer takes on XRPL in response.
